Question:
How many people should we have in our coalition?
Answer:
Randt Corporation has done research on community change.
Through their research they indicate 20 people can totally change a community.
A coalition of 15 to 25 members is generally recommended, although coalition size may be strongly influencing by the size of the community itself. More importantly, the right people for a coalition are not found on a checklist of important titles. They are found in your communities and they are the ones who genuinely care about community change. These people must represent community stakeholders, including grassroots members.
